KITCHEN COMPOSTING TRAINING

Summary of the training

Intellectuals Center conducted ‘Kitchen Composting Training’ to 30 households within Banepa municipality. The program was financially supported by Kathmandu University Business Incubation Center (KUBIC).

Composting trainer Ms. Sanu Maiya Maharjan from Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Environmental Engineer Suman Dhun Shrestha provided the theoretical and practical sessions. Ms. Sujata Dhakal from KUBIC  coordinated the training to provide the necessary support for the project.

In the end, participants received the composting bin at a subsidized price of Rs. 1000 each.
